Your “Out and About” 4G/3G pendant medical alarm is similar to a mobile phone. Please take the following
precau�ons that apply to mobile phones
:

Keep the pendant out of the reach of small children.
�
Although the pendant is water resistant to IP67 it is a good idea to dry the pendant if it has become wet.
�
Do not expose the pendant to solvents, or harsh or abrasive cleaning products.
�
Do not remove the ba�ery. Opening the case should only be done to change the SIM card at the
direc�on of FirstCall.
�
Do not expose the pendant to temperatures exceeding 50˚ C.
�
Only use the charging equipment supplied. Other chargers may damage the circuitry.
�
Do not treat the pendant roughly.
�
Turn off the pendant at petrol sta�ons, and at any other places that do not permit mobile phone use.
�
The alarm does not have a flight-mode. Turn off your alarm in aircra�.
�
If you use a pacemaker please keep the alarm at least twenty cen�metres from the pacemaker. The belt
clip a�achment may be more suitable.
�
Do not use the pendant, or the charger, or any of the a�achments, if they are damaged.
�
The pendant contains a lithium ba�ery. Do not dispose of the pendant in fire or in household rubbish.
�
Please refer to the Warranty provided by FirstCall Connect Pty Ltd in this manual.

RF Safety (SAR) SAR tests have been completed as per the Radiocommunica�ons Standard (Human
Exposure): 2014.The pendant meets all relevant Radiocommunica�ons, EMC and Electrical Safety
requirements for sale in Australia and New Zealand.

Your Pendant has been supplied with a Telstra SIM card and operates on the Telstra mobile network. The
pendant is not locked to Telstra. If you wish to use your own SIM, please contact FirstCall.
