Installation and commissioning Akkubox
Loosen the screws on the bottom of the housing and remove the cover of the battery box.
Insert the lug of the red (brown) cable to the positive terminal of the battery. Put the cord on the pump
completely out. Insert the plug on the pump cable into the socket on an "OUTPUT DC 12-24 V" at the
battery station. Screw to secure the nut firmly. Make sure that the switch is in the off position (off). Put
the cord to the battery completely out of station. Plug in the cable to the jack into the connector of the
solar module. Screw to secure the nut firmly. Place the pump in the pond. Please observe the
instructions of the pump. It contains important information for the commissioning and maintenance.
Leave the switch in the "OFF" position (OFF) and charge the battery up to 3 hours in the sunshine on
(the yellow LED). When turning the switch to the "ON" position (ON), the green LED and the pump
starts working. The operating voltage of the pump can be adjusted via a knob between 12 V and 24 V.
Thus the capacity of the pump is adjustable.
Note: The full performance is only to choose the height of summer. Due to the increased power draw,
the max. Battery life considerably.
Note: The plugs and receptacles are protected against reverse polarity, it should only be used when
inserting any violence. The glass of the solar module is fragile.
Note: The battery station must not be placed in direct sunlight.
Mode, the battery station
Toggle switch
ON (A): If the built-in battery has the corresponding high voltage, the pump (LED turns green), and the
battery is charged with excess energy. If, through a cloud the performance of the solar module is
declining, the pump is powered by the battery. In the evening, the pump runs for some time after, to
the control switches off the battery (LED lights up red).
Position 0 (OFF) (OFF): The pump is switched off. The battery is charged by the solar panel and the
electrical energy is stored. The yellow LED lights up when the battery is charged via the solar panel.
Note: To achieve the evening a very long operating time, then set the switch during the day in the
"OFF" position and in the evening in the
"ON" position.
Note: In high summer, or high solar radiation, it is recommended to

Timer mode:
Has a push button "Timer On", "Off Timer", the battery station can be operated with the timer function.

Short-circuit protection
To destroy the electronics by a short in the pump to prevent the battery station is equipped with a
short-circuit protection. Once at the port of the pump is a short circuit, the battery indicator lights red
and green alternately. Check in this case the pump to function (for example, you supply the pump
directly from the solar module) and check all connections for leaks.

LED displays
G-Normal-Low: LED lights green when the battery is charged enough to supply the pump with power.
LED glows red when the battery is discharged. LED lights are off when the pump is off.
Charge: LED lights yellow when the battery is charged via the solar panel. LED lights
even when turned off.
Replacing the Battery
It is recommended every 2 years to replace the battery. A new, structurally identical battery from the
manufacturer or dealer.
Go with the exchange as follows:
. Set the switch to "OFF" (off) and unplug the module and the water pump from the station battery Turn
the battery station on the head and loosen the bolts on the lower part of the battery box and remove
the cover carefully. Turn
The battery station back. Insert both cables from the battery pack (pictured above). Please note
(brown) the cable color for the positive and negative terminals (blue). Remove the battery from the
housing and insert the new, identical battery. Connect the terminals of the battery polarity again Poland
on cable color for the positive and negative terminals (brown) (blue). Close the case again in reverse
order.
Note: Please use only one of the same battery with the same voltage
and capacity.
Note: The old battery should be disposed of safely. This should be done at the local, public collection
or your dealer.
Wintering
Charge the battery in the battery box full. Take advantage of a sunny day and to turn off the battery
box. After the charge from a Akkupol the cable has to be plugged off. Simply open the case as
described in point.
Wintering the battery box only from a full charge in a frost-free room.
Problems
LED sunlight despite not green but yellow LED. The battery is not sufficiently loaded and has not yet
reached the restart threshold. The charging process can in poor sunlight take several hours. Battery is
exhausted! Approx. every 2 years, the battery should be replaced. LED is not green despite sunlight
when leaving and re-turning the switch on / off the pump will start and the green LED lights. The
battery had not yet reached its restart threshold. After switching on and off of the system is the
electronics reset and the system begins to run without the switch-on threshold to be seen. This is a
normal process and there is no defect.

There is a short circuit at the output. Please check the pump and all
Connectors (especially the LED lights for leaks).
Check the cable for damage or animal bites.
