6.4 Symbols for representing the menu structure

Automatic return to the basic status (RUN mode) when the monitoring time
has expired (e.g. here after 80 seconds)

EDIT (Cancel)
In order to return manually to the basic status (RUN mode), press the EDIT
button for 3 seconds.
Out
The icon on the display flashes (here Out)
Security code active (lock - blocked against unauthorised programming)
Security code inactive (Lock)
Press button (here UP button)
Press the UP button or the DOWN button to set values or functions)
Press the UP button or the DOWN button to change the functions in the
menu.
Edit
Press the EDIT button.

RUN mode
The RUN mode indicates the current pressure value for the output (Out). By briefly
pressing the DOWN button you can display the setpoint value for the input (In).
SHOW mode (see Fig. 17)
If the VPPM-...-C1 is in RUN mode, the SHOW mode will become active when the
UP button or the DOWN button is pressed twice.
If the output (Out) is selected, the current settings of the switching output (Out)
will be displayed one after the other each time the UP button is pressed.
If the input (In) is selected, the minimum pressure value and the maximum pres-
sure of the input [In] will be displayed one after the other when the DOWN button
is pressed.
The SHOW mode shows the following settings and values:
Settings for [Out]:
– Switching function [threshold value/window comparator/SP.O.]
– the switching point [SP] or [SP min] and [SP max]
– and hysteresis [HY]
– Switching characteristic [NO/NC]
• Press the UP button again several times and check the current values and set-
tings of [Out]. When the switching characteristic is displayed you can return to
the RUN mode by pressing the UP button again.
Settings for [In]:
– Minimum pressure value [min]
– Maximum pressure value [max]
• Press the DOWN button several times and check the current values of [In]. When
the maximum pressure is displayed you can return to the RUN mode by pressing
the UP button again.
