2.5 Scope of delivery
Included in scope of delivery is:
– extension module CMGA-E1-PB

3 Functional description
The CMGA-E1-PB permits the user to transmit CAN telegrams (diagnostic telegram, e.g.
CMGA-B1-M2-L2-A0) through PROFIBUS DP. A maximum of 8 CAN telegrams can be received and
passed on.
The module must be parametrised as a Profibus station (slave).
The PROFIBUS baud rate of 9.6 kBaud to 12 Mbaud is recognised automatically. The size of the output
information is a maximum of 64 bytes.
The CMGA-E1-PB must be connected through a rear-wall plug connector to one or more base modules
CMGA-B1....
The Profibus plug connection must take place in accordance with the mounting regulations of the PNO.
