The following settings can be made:
Setting Description
CAN baud rate Baud rate setting for CAN communication (currently, only one setting
of 500 kBit/s is permissible)
Number of CAN modules Number of CAN objects present on the card slots.
Module ID Fixed at “1”
Timeout CAN WD Timeout Timeout time for “internal” CAN communication (see configuration
of diagnostics in the programming manual)

Note:
– Only when connected to the PROFIBUS master system are the configured data accep-
ted into the CMGA-E1-PB. Otherwise, the “default settings” are valid:
