Delays and safe torque switch off (SS1, Safe Stop 1)
The safety function Safe Stop 1 (SS1, type C) can be requested via various devices

rier. The safety request is made in 2-channels via switch S1 and to the safety switching device. The
safety switchnig device switches off the controller enable. If the controller enable of the motor control
ler is switched off, the movement is automatically delayed and, if the brake is configured, brake activa
tion is expected before the control circuit is switched off. After a time set in the safety switching device,
the 2-channel output stage is switched off via STO-A/B. Once the output stage has been switched off, it
is output by the floating contact C1-C2.
