Select “Inputs”
or
“Outputs”.
Please note
The I/O Type “Inputs/Outputs”, “Empty position”, etc. is
not permitted.
2. “Length” (Byte)

When used, enter the individual identifier “1” for 8 inputs
or outputs (gives 8 DI or 8DO)
Alternatively you can group the sum of inputs (in bytes)
in the identifier “0” and the sum of outputs (in bytes) in
the identifier “1” (produces a common identifier).
Please note
Add the 4 status bits to the number of inputs.
3. “Word format”

Do not select this field. This sets the format “Byte” for the
configuration of the digital inputs and outputs. The set-
ting “ Word format” is not permitted.
