4.3.2 Switching on the power supply

Please note

Please observe also the instructions in the manual for your
controller.

When the controller is switched on it automatically imple-
ments a NOMINAL-ACTUAL configuration comparison. For this
configuration run it is important that:

–

the configuration data are complete and correct.

–

the field bus station is powered up so that it can be recog-
nised during determination of the ACTUAL configuration.

4.3.3 Information for commissioning (general DP master)

Status bits

The valve terminal always provides 4 status bits (= inputs)
when the valve terminal is equipped with at least one input
module (4 or 8 inputs).

Please note

– The 4 status bits

always

increase the number of inputs

to be configured by +4.

– Valve terminals without inputs do not have status bits.
