Testing spraying settings
NOTE:
Ensure you follow the “spraying procedure”
instruction before testing the spraying setting.
Aligning Spray:
1) Follow the “pressure relief procedure” instructions.
2) Rotate the spray tip guard (13) to match the
direction of the intended spray pattern.(Fig. G)
Spraying technique
• Move the spray gun (15) with your entire arm
rather than by flexing the wrist. This will keep
the spray gun (15) at right angles to the surface,
thus keep the pattern even (Fig. H1).
• Pull the spray gun trigger (12) after starting the
stroke, and release before ending the stroke.
The spray gun (15) should be moving when the
trigger (12) is pulled and released (Fig. H2).
• Keep the spray gun (15) perpendicular to the
surface to ensure consistent spray distance (Fig.
H3).
• Overlap your strokes by 30% to ensure even
coverage (Fig. H4).
HINTS:
• Do not spray outdoors on a windy day as
the results may be
unsatisfactory.
• Only apply one coat at
a time, always allow a
coat to completely dry
before adding another
coat.
• Avoid stopping and
starting as it can lead to
a patchy finish. It is best to start spray outside the surface to be sprayed and
stopping in the middle of surface, continue just past the opposite edge.
