RECEPTION for BUS2 system ( Ref.2532 + Ref.3245 )
The BUS2 system can be completed with a desktop or wall-mounted CENTRAL RECEPTION.
Essentially the Central Guard Unit offers a "filter" between the visitors to a
building and its residents. This allows communication between the guard unit
and the residences, as well as the reception of calls made from entry panels
to the residences, so that they can then be transferred by the guard unit to the
residence called or to an alternative residence.
The guard unit has 3 operational modes: Day, Mixed and Night.
For the BUS2 system, the MDS Direct reception is used, ref. 2532.
Its connection to the BUS2 system is carried out using a ‘Decoder MDS/BUS2, ref 324’ device, which executes the
conversion of the MDS system to BUS2 and vice versa, thus enabling communication between the BUS2 devices and
the system’s MDS Direct reception.
The Decoder MDS/BUS2 requires simple programming (see section ‘Decoder MDS/BUS2 Programming’).
If, in addition to the reception, the BUS2 system features a BUS2 panel, the ‘BUS2 switcher, ref. 3246’ must be
installed alongside the Decoder MDS/BUS2. This switcher enables the selection of and communication between the
active panel/reception and the general bus, thus isolating other panels/reception or equipment which may be connected
to the bus (see section ‘Basic Devices of BUS2 systems - BUS2 switcher’).
