1. Properties and intended Application of the Antenna Gate
The antenna gate described here was designed for reading Smart Labels (transponders) on goods
transported on pallets or conveyor systems. The read window depends on the number of the used
antennas, the required label orientation, the label type used and the size of the label.
The gate consists of antennas of type ID ISC.ANT800/600-DA, an antenna multiplexer
ID ISC.ANT.MUX-A, a power splitter ID ISC.ANT.PS-B and a Reader ID ISC.LR200-B.
Detailed information about the products and installation notes on the individual antennas can be
found in the installation guide ID ISC.DAT, ID ISC.ANT.MUX-A, ID ISC.ANT.PS-B and
ID ISC.ANT800/600-DA or can be acquired in an antenna training course offered by FEIG
ELECTRONIC GmbH.
