Remove the battery and clean the battery

compartment.

Clean the outside of the battery.

Clean battery poles and pole clamps and

grease them with pole grease (Vaseline).

Install the battery and check the battery

fastening.

On serviceable batteries check the acid

level, if necessary top up to the filling mark

with distilled water.

Push the seat console back again.

Screw the two rear screws tightly into the

seat console.

Turn the main battery switch counter-clock-

wise and pull it out.

Check by turning the ignition key, whether

the battery is disconnected from the elec-

tric system of the machine.
