6. Converting the vehicle
NOTE:
ƒ After converting a conventional Car System vehicle for Car System Digi-
tal operation, the reverse procedure will not generally be possible wit-
hout considerable expenditure of time and effort.
ƒ On convertible Car System models all vehicle parts that have to be ope-
ned or removed to carry out the conversion are plugged, so that the ope-
ning of a vehicle will not require the use of force. Thus attention should
be paid to the fact that vehemence or excessive pressure will generally
result in the destruction of vehicle parts.
Marking the polarity of the charging socket
Define the assignment of the terminals of the charging socket. Fix only once
the "+" (plus) pole at the charging socket and mark the pole with a perma-
nent marker according to the pin assignment of the charging unit. One of
both external ports must be marked with "+" (plus).

On the exterior of the vehicle body mark with a permanent marker
the "+" (plus) pole to avoid any confusion when soldering or char-
ging later.

On the interior of the vehicle body or on the universal PCB mark with
a permanent marker the "+" (plus) pole to avoid any confusion when
soldering later.
