Fig. 16: Bus model, with wiring
NOTE:
X
Since the wiring in bus models has to be removed completely, mark
with a permanent marker, before unsoldering, the positions of the
"+" (plus) pole and the "-" (minus) pole on the motor. This is impor-
tant for the direction of rotation of the motor during the ulterior sol-
dering of the universal PCB.
X
Carefully detach the batteries glued in place as, in bus models, the
dry-reed sensor is located under the batteries. After soldering the con-
version PCB secure the batteries again, if necessary using some hot-
melt glue, scale modelling glue "Uhu por" or double-sided adhesive
tape.
X
Remove the resistor installed with a side cutter.
X
Heat the soldering iron.
X
Detach all wiring present on the components (charging socket, switch,
dry-reed sensor, motor, rechargeable batteries).
NOTE:
Completely remove the wiring on bus models (unlike the other conver-
tible vehicle models). Because of its short length the wiring present for
the motor is insufficient for the following ulterior procedures.
The components "resistor" and "bridge at the charging connector" are
no longer of any use and can be discarded. Because of the lack of space
within the vehicle after installing the conversion PCB, the seat insert in
bus models can no longer be used, that is, only the front part fitted with
a driver can be inserted.
