2. Safety instructions
1. Your Falco supplier cannot be held liable for improper use and the resul-
ting consequences. Only use the bridge for lifting vehicles within the spe-
cifications as described in this owner’s manual.
2. This user manual is part of the bridge and should therefore be kept care-
fully with the bridge. When the bridge changes hands, the user manual
must be included.
3. Only experienced personnel are allowed to work with the bridge.
4. Wear the necessary personal protective equipment such as safety shoes,
safety glasses and gloves.
5. The workplace must be clean, free of oil and grease and tidy.
6. It is prohibited to lift/transport persons with the bridge.
7. Before each use, check the bridge for damage, mechanical deformation
and leaks in the hydraulic system. In the event of one of these defects,
the bridge must be taken out of use immediately until the problem has
been solved by a specialized company/person.
8. Only experienced electricians are allowed to make electrical connections.
9. The supplier is not responsible for unauthorized changes to the bridge.
10. For the safety of the operator and other persons, a safe zone of at least 1
meter around the bridge and the vehicle must be kept clear when the
bridge is raising or lowering. The bridge may only be operated from the
operator’s seat for safety reasons.
11. The operator may only go under the bridge when it is in a raised position
and when the platforms are not moving.
12. The operator and person in charge of maintenance must comply with
the accident prevention laws and regulations in force in the country whe-
re the bridge is installed.
13. The bridge must be inspected annually.
14. Use common sense at all times when lifting vehicles, paying particular
attention to the weight distribution and center of gravity of the vehicle in
relation to the bridge.
15. Never sit in the car when the car is in the raised position and never start
the vehicle in the raised position.
• Removing or disconnecting safety devices is prohibited.
• Keep an eye on the space around the vehicle lift during lifting.
• Make sure the car engine is off, the car is in gear and the parking brake is
applied.
• Only vehicles that can be lifted according to the instructions in this ma-
nual may be lifted with the bridge. Keep in mind the correct use of pads
and the correct placement of the center of gravity.
• Make sure no one is on, under or next to the bridge during the lifting and
lowering process.
