1. Introduction
Before using the bridge, the user manual must be fully read and understood.
This owner’s manual contains important information about the correct
installation, operation, use and maintenance of the bridge described herein.
There are different risks of personal injury or property damage associated
with using any bridge. Anyone who comes into contact with the installation,
maintenance or operation of the bridge must be fully familiar with the con-
tents of this manual. To protect against personal injury or property damage,
follow the directions and instructions in this owner’s manual.
Every Falco bridge is produced in accordance with the Machinery Directive
2006/42/EC and the NEN-1493 guideline. A manual including a declaration of
conformity is supplied with every bridge. These must be properly stored and
maintained.
Due to constant improvements to the equipment in the interests of quality,
Falco reserves the right to change specifications of the equipment described
in the manual.
Storing the user
manual We recommend a number of things for correct use of the manual:
Store the user manual near the bridge in an accessible place.
Do not store the user manual in a damp place.
Use the user manual in a normal way without damaging it.
Any use of the bridge by operators who are not familiar with the instructions
and procedures described in this user manual is strictly prohibited.
This user manual is part of the bridge and should therefore be kept carefully
with the bridge. When the bridge changes hands, the user manual must be
included.
