Select a medium (180ºC) to high
(200ºC) temperature level for
hair that is very thick, curly and
difficult to straighten.
Straightening long hair
Hold the appliance by the handle g, always
at a safe distance from your skin and eyes.
Use a mirror.
• Divide your hair into sections of approx.
4cm.
• Begin at the roots and place the section
of hair between the straightening plates
e.
• Close the appliance and pull on the
straightener gently from the roots until
the tips of your hair. Repeat until all of
your hair is straight to your liking.
Once finished, leave your hair to cool down
and then comb it thoroughly.
Straightening short hair
Follow the instructions for long hair, but
instead of pulling the straightener along
your hair, keep the straightener in the same
place for approximately 10 seconds.
Switching off the appliance
• Switch off the appliance by using the
ON/OFF switch b. The alternative
automatic switch-off
will be activated
after
60 minutes
.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Risk of electrocution!
Switch the appliance off before
cleaning it and unplug it.
• Risk of burns!
It is essential to leave the appliance
to cool down completely.
• Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it
from the power socket!
• Do not put the appliance in water!
• Look after your appliance! Do not use
sharp or abrasive cleaning agents!
• You can clean your appliance with a
slightly damp cloth and dry it with a soft
dry cloth.
• If the straightening plates get dirty, use
some drops of washing-up liquid to
help to clean them. Make sure that you
remove all remnants of the detergent
from the straightening plates!
Protecting the environment
• The packaging materials and the
appliance with its accessories are made
from recyclable materials.
• Appropriate sorting and disposal of the
materials helps them to be recycled.
Disposing of the appliance
This symbol on the product,
the instructions for use and
the packaging indicate that
this product, at the end of its
service life, cannot be thrown into the
normal rubbish bin. It must be disposed of
at a collection centre for the recycling of
electrical or electronic appliances.
The materials must be recycled in
accordance with their classification. By
disposing of the used appliance correctly,
recycling materials and other forms of
recycling are making a valuable contribution
to protecting our environment.
Ask your local authority for a list of the
appropriate recycling points.
