6 INSTALLATION
6.1 WARNINGS
Do not install the station in an explosive atmosphere.
T
he presence of flammable gas or fumes is a serious safety hazard.
Provide for an omnipolar switch with a contact opening distance equal to or greater than 3 mm on the
station's power network.
It is advisable to use a 6A circuit breaker with omnipolar switch.
Verify that an RCD is installed upline.
Make sure that the earthing system has been implemented in accordance with professional practice.
Connect the station to the grounding system.

he following are prohibited:
▫ Install the product outside the limits prescribed by the technical data and by the installation requirements.
▫ Install the product in locations that obstruct the escape routes.
6.2 INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

efore installing the product, all operations must be carried out to ensure compliance with the mechanical requirements.
6.2.1. Mechanical requirements
▫ A level surface.
▫ Solid ground to support the product's weight.
▫ Absence of signs of corrosion or cracks in the structure.
▫ The thresholds and projections on the flooring must be appropriately shaped and marked to rule out risks of tripping
or slipping.
▫ Sufficiently lit environment, clean and with easily accessible power supply.
▫ Absence of sharp edges and protruding parts, to avoid the risks of cutting and entanglement. Alternatively, eliminate or
adequately protect the sharp edges and protruding parts.
▫ Ensure sufficient space to perform all installation and maintenance operations.
▫ The peripheral must be installed in a visible and well-lit environment so it can be identified and used by customers in
an appropriate manner.
▫ The sign identifying the location where the collection peripheral is installed must be clearly visible to users at all points
in the parking area.
▫ For safety reasons we recommend that the location in which the peripheral is operating is constantly monitored by
video surveillance (not supplied by FAAC S.p.A.).
