Receiving Files Via Bluetooth
•
Make sure that “Make this device visible to other devices”
in Bluetooth settings is selected.
•
Make sure that the device and the destination device are
within close range and that the device is discoverable.
•
When prompted to receive an incoming beam, tap “Yes” to
receive.
Creating a Bluetooth Partnership
A Bluetooth partnership is a connection that allows for secure
information exchange via Bluetooth technology. When a
partnership between two devices is created, the devices do not
need to be discoverable for secure information exchange. A
matching passkey is required on both devices to create a
partnership. A Bluetooth partnership will work as long as the
Bluetooth function is turned on.
•
Turn both devices, set them to discoverable, and place them
in close range.
•
Tap: /Settings/Bluetooth/Devices/Add new device.
•
The device will search for other devices with Bluetooth
capabilities and display them in the list.
