• Do not, under any circumstances, transport the
item on a vehicle while it is still inflated.
• Never leave your item unoccupied on the
water. It will be carried away too fast for a
swimmer to be able to reach it.
• Before using the item, always make sure that
you have the paddles with you, otherwise you
will not have su
ffi
cient control over it.
• Do not use the item if it shows any signs of
damage.
• Do not make any technical modifications to
the item. Modifications of any kind will impair
the operability of the item and the warranty
will no longer being valid.
• Never use the item under the influence of
alcohol, drugs or medication.
• Never overestimate your strength; always
pace yourself when paddling so that you can
easily retrace the distance you have covered.
Stay within 150m of protected shorelines and
pay attention to changing winds and currents
that can severely hamper your ability to move
forward.
• Ensure that your feet do not become ensnared
in the retaining cord, or the carrying handle.
• The product can withstand a maximum load of
150kg.
• The item can only carry the weight of one
person.
Preventing damage to the item!
• All inflatable items are sensitive to cold. Never
unfold and inflate the product at temperatures
below 15°C!
• Inflate the item at a pressure of 0.7 bar
(10 psi), to a maximum of 1 bar (15 psi).
• If the air pressure increases in the direct sun,
this must be balanced out by releasing the
corresponding amount of air.
• Open the valve and release some air when
the pressure exceeds 1 bar (15 psi).
• Ensure that the product does not come into
contact with stones, gravel or sharp objects,
particularly when inflated, and do not allow it
to rub or scrape against rough surfaces as this
can cause damage.
• Only insert suitable pump adapters into the
safety valves. Use of other adapters could
result in damage to the valves.
• Do not use a compressor to inflate the item.
• Do not over-inflate the product as there is a
risk that the seams may split open. Ensure the
valves are firmly closed after inflating.
• Avoid contact with sharp, hot, pointed or
dangerous items, chemicals or liquids. Should
this happen, nonetheless, check the board
thoroughly for leaks or other damage.
• Keep the item away from fire and hot items
(e.g. burning cigarettes).
• Do not transport the board on vehicles while
inflated.
Assembly
Follow the step-by-step set-up instructions in the
order given.
1. Select a suitable area that is clean and level
and has enough room to unpack and unfold
the item. Make sure that all the parts are at
hand and are in perfect condition.
2. When assembling the item for the second and
subsequent times, check for any damage,
holes or tears and seal them as described
further on. Once you are on the water, it is too
late to repair any damage.
Assembling the paddles (Fig. B)
1. Disassemble the locking lever (4a) from the
extension pole (4).
2. Insert the paddle pole (3) into the extension
pole (4).
3. Pull the paddle pole until the desired length
has been reached.
Note:
Please refer to the section “Setting pad-
dle length” for the correct setting of the paddle
pole.
4. Press the locking lever (4a) on the extension
pole to lock the paddle pole.
5. Insert the open end of the extension pole (4)
into the end of the paddle blade (2). The pin
on the extension pole must click audibly into
the pin-hole of the paddle pole.
Disassembling the paddle
Proceed in the reverse order to disassemble the
item.
