call at the console. If that is not happening, then the fault lies
with the PBX or the wiring.
b) Take a piece of wire and momentarily touch and release the
Overflow relay terminals on the unit. Confirm that the unit is
registering the contact closures. The Power lamp should stop
flashing as soon as the contacts are closed the first time. If that
does not happen, the unit may be faulty.
c) If the pick up takes place with a lesser number of closures, this
could be because of relay contact chatter. The relay contacts are
already debounced inside the unit to take care of this problem.
However, in extreme cases, additional debouncing may be
necessary.

The
EZ ANSWER
allows for a 5% variation on either side of the
nominal values mentioned above. However, any tone plan not
falling within the above, may not be detected properly by the
EZ
ANSWER
and hence, the semi and fully supervised modes of
transfer may not function correctly.
