You can set the frame rates separately according to the event. For example, you can set a
lower frame rate for continuous recording than for manual recording, since manually activated
recordings are usually more interesting for evaluation.

MANUAL: frame rate for manual recording
o
CONTINUE: frame rate for scheduled recording
o
ALARM: frame rate for recording following signal at alarm input
o
MOTION DETECTION: frame rate for recording following a detected motion

DEFAULT: Restores the default values for recording settings

Note: The higher the picture quality and the frame rate, the shorter the recording time!
SCHEDULE SETUP
Under SCHEDULE SETUP, you can set the recorder’s behaviour for different times. Press UP/DOWN
until the cursor is flashing next to the required time. Press RIGHT/LEFT to switch between different
recording modes.

The following recording modes are possible:

CONT. (C): Continuous recording
ƒ
MOTION (M): Recording following motion detection
ƒ
ALARM (A): Recording following signal at alarm input
ƒ
ALL (*): Combination of continuous recording, recording following motion detection
and signal at alarm input.
ƒ
NONE (-): No recording.
You can always make a manual recording by pressing REC.
During the ALL (*) recording mode, the recorder has the following recording priorities:
1. MANUAL 2. ALARM 3. MOTION 4. CONTINUE
If the recorder changes to a higher mode, this is triggered.
E.G. from continuous recording to manual recording. The recorder then sets the frame rate to the
values set under RECORD SETUP.
