Under SET PASSWORD, you can change the password for the recorder or save the password to the
CF card.

PASSWORD FOR PLAYBACK: You can also protect the recorded data on the hard disk with
the password.

PASSWORD FOR PLAYBACK ON/OFF.

SAVE PASSWORD TO CF CARD: Saves the password to the CF card.
The recorder no longer asks for your password if the CF card is inserted.
This means that an inserted CF card replaces password input.

The factory setting of the password is 12345678 (camera keys 1–8 correspond to the digits,
and digits 0 and 9 cannot be entered).

Press ENTER to enter a new password and confirm your input.
