The default names shown in the
Dante
Receivers
column and
Dante
Transmitters
row
are extracted from the Dante interface of the connected device (see figure 22,

and
2
).
The receivers are labelled
EXP_In-01
through
EXP_In-48
because the AXP 64 C AT can
receive signal at the 48 EXP inputs.
The first set of transmitters is labelled
Output-01
through
Output-08
because the
AXP 64 C AT can transmit signals routed to the analog outputs to the Dante network.
The second set of transmitters is labelled
EXP-Out-01
through
EXP-Out-16
because the
AXP 64 C AT can transmit signals routed to the EXP outputs to the Dante network.
To rename a AXP 64 C AT receiver or transmitter:

From the
Device
menu on the
Network
View
screen, select
Device
View
, or press
<Ctrl+D>
on the keyboard. The
Device
View
dialog box opens.
2.
From the
(Select
a
Dante
Device..)
drop-down list, select the name of the desired
AXP 64 C AT (see figure 23,
1
).
3.
On the
Device
View
screen, select the
Receive
tab or
Transmit
tab (

) as desired.
4.
Click on the name of the receiver or transmitter to be renamed. The name becomes a
text box with a cursor (

).
5.
Enter the new name (up to 31 characters) using any combination of letters, numbers,
and special characters except for
@
,
=
, and
.
(period).
6.
Press
<Enter>
on the keyboard to confirm the name, or click another channel text box.
7.
Repeat steps 4 through 6 to rename additional receiver or transmitter channels.
8.
When finished renaming receivers and transmitters, close the
Device
View
dialog box.
