7.4 Moving and transporting
While moving and transporting loads, please note:
● The loaded
lift2move
may only be moved if the operator has an
unobstructed view of the danger area – if that is not possible, a
marshaller must provide assistance.
● Always secure the load adequately before transport.
● Adapt the transport speed.
● Do not permit the load to oscillate during transport.
● Do not release the load securing means as long as the lifting aid
is still in operation. Make sure that the load is standing or supported
fi rmly before releasing the securing means.
● When using tiltable, rotatable, or inclinable load handling
attachments, always ensure that no parts of your body or other
obstructions are anywhere within the lifter‘s entire operating range.
● Do not allow the load to drop freely. This applies in particular to
load handling attachments with magnets or suction pads.
● Avoid moving the lifting carriage against the upper or lower end
stops.
● The lifting aid should always be moved at an appropriate speed,
especially when moving through curves and over uneven surfaces.
WARNING!
During transport, the load handling attachment must
always
be in the lowest position.
The load must always be kept close to the fl oor duri-
ng transport. The only permitted exceptions are whi-
le lifting or lowering the load.
If the load has not been lowered completely, and
depending on driving speed and the nature of the
obstruction, the lifting aid can tip or the load can
fall (if not secured properly).
