Lifting aid
Spindle drive
The load handling attachment is moved vertically by means of a
threaded spindle and a ball screw inside the lifting pillar. Access to the
spindle is through a slot along the entire length of the pillar. The slot
is protected from dirt and foreign bodies by a brush strip, which also
prevents the inadvertent insertion of
fi ngers.
WARNING! Risk of entanglement and injury!
Never
try to touch the spindle through the brush
strip, or insert objects into the slot.
The load handling attachment is fi xed to the lifting spindle by means
of a safety slip clutch.
If the load handling attachment meets an obstruction during lowering ,
this safety clutch decouples the lifting carriage from the ball screw.
During lifting operations, an overload monitor (controlled by the
current drawn by the drive motor) prevents damage to the lifting aid.
CAUTION!
On no account may changes be made to the safety
slip clutch.
WARNING!
Any changes to the drive motor‘s overload monitor
or any other electrical components of the lifting aid
may only be made by the supplier.
