Servicing & maintenance

9.1 Safety
General

WARNING!

Risk of injury due to incorrect maintenance.

Incorrect maintenance can result in serious bodily
injury. Therefore:

●

Before starting with any work that involves the
removal of protective covers, the lifter must be
switched off and secured against unintentional
switch-on.

●

Ensure adequate working space before starting
with maintenance operations. The workplace
must be kept tidy and clean. Components that
are loosely stacked or left lying around are
accident hazards.

●

Any protective covers or safety devices that
have been removed or disabled for the purpose
of maintenance, repair, trouble-shooting or
cleaning, must be replaced/enabled before
putting the lifter back into operation. Before
switching on again, make sure that all covers
and safety devices are in perfect working order.

●

Maintenance work may only be carried out by
experts (see Section

2.6 Terminology

).

CAUTION!

Risk of material damage due to incorrect main-
tenance.

If components are replaced:

●

Make sure that the replacement parts are
installed correctly.

●

Securely tighten all

xtures.

●

Observe the permissible screw tightening
torques.

Personal protective

Always wear personal protective equipment during all maintenance
work.
