1. Fill the water boiler.
2. Press the cover down until it audibly clicks into place.

It may take some minutes for the error message

ty/not in appliance) to disappear.

The treatment then automatically continues.

on page 53).

Switch off the appliance (stop using it)
1. Switch the appliance off using the
ON/OFF
switch.
2. Pull out the mains plug.
3. Clean the appliance, if necessary.

DANGER! Risk of electric shock
When connected to the mains power supply, the appliance is still electrically
live even after it has been switched off at the main switch. Touching live parts of
the appliance can lead to a potentially fatal electric shock:

In the case of an appliance on a tripod or wall mounting, disconnect the
mains plug and secure it against being reconnected.
~
In the case of a floor or ceiling-mounted appliance (not shown), disconnect
the mains power supply and secure it against being switched on again.
~
Protect the appliance from splashes of water and do not use wet cleaning
methods.
~
Do not insert objects into openings in the appliance.
~
Do not remove dust or foreign objects with pointed or conductive objects
e.g. tail comb, wire brush etc.
DANGER! Fire hazard

Do not use petrol, paint thinner or other highly flammable substances for
cleaning.
~
Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaners.
DANGER! Risk of burn injuries
~
Do not clean the water boiler and steam shower with foaming detergent (e.g.
washing-up liquid). Foaming detergent emerges from the steam shower as
hot liquid / foam.
~
The water in the water boiler may be hot after operation. Before cleaning the
appliance, allow the water in the water boiler to cool down.
10.1
Cleaning housing, tripod and wall arm
The housing and moving parts of the appliance are made from robust, low-
maintenance materials. You can avoid discolouration by removing product res-
idues from the plastic immediately.
1. Switch the appliance off using the
ON/OFF
switch.
2. Allow the appliance and the water in the water boiler to cool down.
3. Pull out mains plug / switch off mains power supply.
4. Clean the surfaces of the appliance with a soft cloth that has been slightly
moistened with water and a little washing-up liquid and squeezed out well.
5. Vacuum openings in the appliance using a brush attachment.
