8.9 Stability Data

Collect, display and record intensity stability data from X-Cite
®
exacte
during CLF
operation.
Automatically log events such as alarm conditions, calibration expiry, and CLF
turning off.
User-defined events or information relating to the X-Cite
®
exacte
set-point, or
experimental conditions can also be logged in the data file Logging Events.
Allows download to MS Excel
®
file.
To collect/display stability data;
1. Engage CLF on X-Cite
®
exacte
(refer to X-Cite
®
user guide, Excelitas
Technologies document # 035-00283 for full instructions).
2. Click
‘RECORD’
button.
3. Click
‘STOP’
or
‘PAUSE’
button as required.
To log an event;
1. Double left-click on the plot area.
2. Type in the event or information, up to 100 characters.
3. Click
OK
. The information will be logged in the data file for the time point when the
dialogue box first opened (even if it takes several time points to type in the
information).
To export logged data;
1. Click on the ‘
File
’ pull-down menu.
2. From the drop down menu, choose “
Save Stability Graph Data As…”
3. Give the file a name, click
‘SAVE’
- data will be saved in Comma Separated
Values (.csv) format, which can be opened in MS Excel®.
