10 Troubleshooting

This section will guide you through some basic troubleshooting steps. Any
required service is to be completed by qualified repair personnel only!

XR2100 Optical Power Meter Error Codes

If the XR2100 monitoring systems identify a problem, an error code will be generated.
Definitions and recommended actions are in the following table.

Internal problems during power up.

XR2100 Calibration is more than 12 months
old. Recalibration required to ensure
accuracy.

Unable to communicate with external
detector

Check cable connection

and press ‘External’ button

to switch input to XP750

LOC

Keypad function is locked out.
Unavailable in current operating mode.

View “Status Data” using GUI,
“uncheck” disable boxes if
necessary.

CLO

Problem with the Real Time Clock (RTC)
Typically occurs when batteries are
changed and clock/data setting gets cleared
from memory.
