6.2 - How do I assign a Single IP Address for the OneBlox Ring?
With the support of Virtual IP addresses, OneBlox now supports the presentation of a single IP
address for the OneBlox Ring. Before configuring the virtual IP address, ensure that each OneBlox
in the Ring has either a static IP address (see “ How do I change the Network Configuration of the
OneBlox ” on page 55) or a reserved DHCP address.
1.
In OneSystem, navigate to the desired Ring.
2.
Navigate to the left-hand pane and select 'Settings'.
3.
For the Ring (or Rings in a Mesh configuration) select the "Edit" radio button for the Ring IP
address.
4.
Enter the desired virtual IP address for the Ring.
NOTE:
The Netmask will be 255.255.255.255 as this is a virtual IP address and is not configurable.
5.
Click "Save".
