Notes for startup and calibration of CEDOX control
After calibrating the ORP electrode, the setpoint optimization is out
of service for 2 hours, as the ORP electrode does not supply reli-
ably signals during this period. During this time, the 700 P electron-
ics module uses a fixed temporary Cl2 setpoint. This temporary Cl
2
setpoint is the last current Cl
2
before the calibration (can be altered
manually).
When the chlorine measurement is calibrated, the 700 P electron-
ics module automatically calculates a new Cl
2
setpoint if devia-
tions are detected.
The following is achieved by using CEDOX:
•
Reduction of disinfectant consumption (as much chlorine as
necessary but as little as possible).
•
The optimum control of the Cl
2
setpoint based on the ORP
voltage means that the lowest possible Cl
2
setpoint is always
used and thus disinfectant saved.
•
Optimizing the water quality, especially in swimming pools with
heavy fluctuations in usage (e.g. outdoor pools) or with long
periods of no usage.
Please note
CEDOX does not mean that disinfection systems can be made
smaller!

Combinations of controller modes
The 700 P electronics module gives you the option of running var-
ious controller modes in combination with ECO mode.
The operator can select three different controller modes:
