Proceed as follows:
Zero point calibration

Starting from the main screen, press the menu field with mea-
suring value “Cl2 free”.

Select menu field “Calibration”. The window “Cl2 free - Cali-
bration” appears on the graphic display.

Close the ball valve on the sample water inlet.

Select the parameter “Zero”.
Please note
Make sure that the chlorine sensor is firmly screwed in. Otherwise
the measurement accuracy will be affected by inconsistent flow
and inadequate sand cleaning.
When the sample water supply has been stopped, the display first
drops rapidly, and after approximately one minute slowly ap-
proaches zero. During the first commissioning, it is essential to
wait for 5 minutes, even if the display should show “0.00” or flash
after a few seconds.

Wait until the displayed chlorine value no longer changes.

Press „Apply” to set the display to "0.00".

Open the ball valve on the sample water inlet.
Measuring value calibration
(DPD)

After zero point calibration, wait at least 2 minutes.

Open the sample taking unit (drain) by approximately one turn
and extract a specimen of the sample water.

Determine the content of free chlorine in the sample using a
photometer.

Select the parameter “DPD”.

Use the input field to enter the determined value.

Confirm the entry with the Enter key.
Calibration for free chlorine is then concluded.
