5.5 - Working with the rotary tiller
(proper use)
The rotary tiller is used to crumble the
soil and to prepare it:
1) for
seeding;
2) in order to bury grassy residuals
in ploughed soil or soil which has
been subjected to a first working
process;
3) on compact soil.
The rotary tiller is not generally suit-
able for work on stony soil.
A few small stones are usually toler-
ated and will create no difficulties.
On the other hand, working on exces-
sively stony soils can damage the
knives and the machine itself. Such
use will also void the guarantee.
5.5 - Lavoro con la zappatrice (uti-
lizzo consentito)
La zappatrice è utilizzata per sminuz-
zare il terreno per prepararlo:
1) alla semina;
2) per interrare eventuali residui
erbosi su terreno arato o che co-
munque abbia subito una primaria
lavorazione;
3) su terreno compatto.
La zappatrice non è in generale adatta
al lavoro in terreni sassosi.
Qualche sasso di piccole dimensioni
viene normalmente tollerato e non
crea problemi alla macchina.
Al contrario lavorare su terreni ecces-
sivamente sassosi danneggia i coltelli
e la macchina stessa. Inoltre un tale
utilizzo fa decadere immediatamente
la garanzia della macchina.
