1. (Left) Remove the screw from the M.2 Key-E Socket 1 nut if previously installed.
Otherwise, remove the screw from the inside of the motherboard box and place it
nearby. (Right) Install your M.2 Key-E Socket 1 device into the slot. The device
should install at an angle. Make sure to fully seat the device, as you’ll see in the next
two images below.
2. (Left) Using the screw mentioned in Step 1, place the screw in the M.2 Key-E Socket
1 nut, and fasten the screw with a Phillips #1 screwdriver. The screw should secure
the M.2 Key-E Socket 1 device around the small semi-circle in the device (Right).
3. Installation is complete. Many M.2 Key-E Socket 1 WiFi/BT cards require the
connection of antennas; please refer to the installation instructions for your M.2 Key-
E Socket 1 device for further instructions. You can now resume installation of
components, or install the motherboard into your chassis.
