reads zero.

3.  Place  a  bucket  under  the  sump  to  catch  any  excess  water  that  may  spill  from  the

head.  Un-screw  the  sump  with  the  wrench  provided.  Remove  the  old  cartridge  and
clean the sump if required.

4.  Install the new cartridge and re-install the sump.
5.  Slowly open the inlet shut-off valve and purge the system of any air.
6.  Close the TO flush valve.

Every 6 months – Replace the TO cartridge:

1.  Close the inlet shut-off valve.
2.  Disconnect the 24 VAC Transformer from the 115-Volt receptacle.
3.  Open  the  TO  flush  valve  to  relieve  the  pressure.  Observe  that  the  pressure  gauge

reads zero.

4.  Follow the instructions on the TO cartridge label. Place a bucket under the cartridge

to catch any excess water that may spill from the head. Remove the old cartridge by
turning  the  cartridge  to  the  left  until  it  stops  and  pulling  it  downward  until  it  is  free
from its head.

5.  Remove the shrink-wrap plastic from the new TO cartridge.
6.  Align the new pre-filter cartridge lug with its head label.
7.  Holding the head and cartridge firmly, press the cartridge upward onto the head and

turn the cartridge to the right until it stops.

8.  Slowly open the inlet shut-off valve and purge the system of any air.
9.  Allow the TO cartridge to flush to drain for 5 minutes or until the water is clear.
10. Close the TO flush valve.
11. Connect the 24 VAC Transformer from the 115-Volt receptacle.

Every 6-12 months – Sanitize the storage tank:

1.  Refer to “Start-up” section - steps 1-3, for sanitation procedure.

Every 1 to 1-1/2 years – Replace the RO cartridge:

1.  Close the inlet shut-off valve.
2.  Disconnect the 24 VAC transformer from the 115-Volt receptacle.
3.  Open  the  TO  flush  valve  to  relieve  the  pressure.  Observe  that  the  pressure  gauge

reads zero.

4.  Follow the instructions on the RO cartridge label. Place a bucket under the cartridge

to catch any excess water that may spill from the head. Remove the old cartridge by
turning  the  cartridge  to  the  left  until  it  stops  and  pulling  it  downward  until  it  is  free
from its head.

5.  Remove the shrink-wrap plastic from the new RO cartridge.
6.  Align the new RO cartridge lug with its head label.
7.  Holding the head and cartridge firmly, press the cartridge upward onto the head and

turn the cartridge to the right until it stops.

8.  Rotate the handle on the product water 3-way sample valve so it is pointing towards

the drain connection (front of unit).

9.  Slowly open the inlet shut-off valve.
10. Connect the 24 VAC transformer to the 115-Volt receptacle.
11. Demand  water  from  one  of  the  pieces  of  equipment  serviced  by  the  MRS-200  to

drain  down  the  storage  to  the  point  the  solenoid  energizes  and  the  system  begins
make RO water. Stop demanding water once this occurs.

12. Allow  the  system  to  flush  at  least  1  hour  or  until  1  gallon  of  outlet  water  has  been

produced.  Check  the  water quality  to  determine  if the  RO  membrane  is  functioning
correctly.
