7.3.6.3   Mobile 

After connecting the 3G / 4G Receiver to the mobile DVR, you have to set up the mobile 
settings for the mobile DVR to connect to the wireless network. Follow the steps below:

Connect the 3G / 4G Receiver to the mobile DVR. Please refer to the 

User’s Manual

 of the 

3G / 4G Antenna Module

.  

2.

 

Select 

On

  from the GPRS Service drop-down list and select an authentication (

CHAP

  or 

PAP

).  

3.

 

Insert the APN, Dial Number, User Name and Password provided by the network service 

provider and then click the

 Connect

 button. The connection status will be displayed in the 

Status

 field below. If it’s connected successfully, the status will display “Success”. And the 

network information will be displayed in the fields below. 

4.

 

 Click the

 Save 

button to save the settings. You can now use the IP for remote access to the 

mobile DVR. 

 

Note:  

If a message window pops up “Please insert a 3G modem”, please reboot the mobile 

DVR.
