Insert both buckle tongues

Pull up on the harness strap to check that the buckle
tongues are fastened.
Place baby in the child restraint.
The baby’s back
and bottom should be flat against the restraint.
If there is a gap, the baby will not be comfortable.

Bring each harness strap over the child’s shoulders.

Fasten the chest clip

by snapping the two halves
together, as shown. Slide chest clip to armpit level.

Grasp both red harness tabs
