The shoulder harness straps should

be as close as possible to, but

the child’s shoulders.

To remove the harness
covers. Loosen the harness
straps by pressing the
harness release button
while pulling on the
straps. Slide the harness
strap off of the splitter
plate. Pull both harness
straps through the front
of the child restraint. Then
slide harness covers off
harness straps. Reattach
the harness strap onto the
splitter plate.

To reattach harness covers,
follow steps above.
