Maintenance
CAUTION:

To ensure that the device remains in good working condition and does not fail prematurely,
ETC recommends that you perform regular maintenance on the SealerAtor.
Keep the following in mind during regular service and inspection:
•
All parts of the SealerAtor must be tightly connected and must not be corroded.
•
There must not be any deformations to the housing.
•
The power input cable and air hose must not show any damage, material fatigue, or
sediment.
•
If spare parts are required, order only genuine parts from ETC or your authorized ETC
dealer.
Clean the SealerAtor
Clean the SealerAtor regularly using a damp, lint-free cloth. Never use alcohol or solvents.
Update Firmware on the SealerAtor
Contact ETC Technical Services for assistance in updating the firmware on the SealerAtor.

for contact information.
Tools and parts needed:
•
PC on which the SealerAtor software is installed.
•
USB cable (provided with the SealerAtor).
1. Unzip the contents of the firmware zip file.
2. Connect the PC to the SealerAtor using the provided USB cable.
3. Power on the SealerAtor.
4. Start the SealerAtor software on the PC.
5. Select Update on the home page of the SealerAtor software. The SealerAtor Update
window opens.
6. Select Browse, and navigate to the location of the contents of the firmware zip file.
7. Select the .gsd file and select Open.
8. Confirm that you selected the correct file, and select Update. The status of the firmware
update is shown on the PC and in the display on the SealerAtor.
Note:
To close the SealerAtor Update window without updating the firmware,
select OK or the X in the upper right corner of the window.
9. When the firmware update is complete, select OK to close the SealerAtor Update window.
