Expert service must do the large maintenance or to intervene into inside parts of

V. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The coffee is not
sufficiently hot.
The cup was not
preheated.
Flush the coffee machine with hot
water in three flush cycles.
The brewing unit is too
cold.
No coffee is running
down the spout.
The “system draining”
operation might have been
activated.
Activate the hot water feature until
water starts running down the
spout.
The coffee is flowing
very slowly, or just
trickling.
The coffee is too finely
ground.
Set a coarser grinding level.
The first cup is of poor
quality.
The grinder did not supply
enough ground coffee to
the brewing unit during the
first grinding.
Pour the first cup away. The
following cups will be of a better
quality.
The coffee has no
foam (crema).
The coffee beans are not
fresh or the coffee beans
are of a low quality.
Change your coffee brand or use
fresh coffee.
The grind size set produces
a too coarse grind.
Set a finer grind size
Touch buttons are not
sensitive.
Button pressed incorrectly. Always press the buttons from the
front side of the panel, using the
whole finger pad.
Fingers might be greasy or
dirty.
Wash your fingers.
It takes a long time
to heat up the coffee
machine.
The system is blocked with
scale deposits.
Descale the coffee machine.
The B7 icon indicates
a lack of coffee beans
despite the fact there is
a sufficient quantity of
them in the container.
The internal ground coffee
outlet is blocked/clogged.
Clean the ground coffee outlet by
removing the brewing unit E
No milk froth is
produced.
The nozzle is blocked. Clean the components of the
steam nozzle and check that they
are passable.
