Technical data
Use in potentially explosive atmospheres
The following operating conditions must be observed
without exception for the use of the mole in a
potentially explosive area (EX area):
•
The system is approved for use in Zone 22 for the
EX area only.
• Wiring between the junction box and the mole is
only allowed with the supplied cable. The special
closure used on the device corresponds to:
– Mounting plug: Lumberg RST 5-228/15m -
M8x1 screw cap IP67
– Cable socket: Belden RKFM 5/0.5 P46 -
M8x1 screw cap IP67
• The connection and disconnection of the device as
well as any changes to the wiring of all
components must be done in a de-energized state.
• Damaged cables and their connections must be
replaced and not repaired.
• Changing the wiring from the intended scheme is
not allowed.
