4. Acknowledge any unacknowledged messages that appear on the
display.
5. Set Dip switch S1-4 to the
ON
position. The following message
should appear:
-SYSTEM PROGRAMMING-
SET S4-1 TO
THE OFF POSITION.
6. Set Dip switch SW1-4 to the
OFF
position. The following
message should appear:
ENABLE KEY-SWITCH
CONNECT CABLE
START DOWNLOAD
7. If an MS-I remote enable/disable key switch is used, it must be
in the enable (shorted) position.
If no download is started within two minutes, the annunciator will
reinitialize and go into normal operation.
8. From the “Parameter Entry for Entire Project” screen, verify that
the PC Communications port matches the download cable location.
9. Enter the address of the first display in the selected address
window. Press TAB to reach the “Parameter Entry for Selected
Display” menu. Press “T” to download the files to the selected
display. At the completion of the download process, the LSRA
will reboot and operate using the downloaded database.
10. The computer and display will indicate when the download
process is finished, and will provide a CRC number, which should
be recorded for troubleshooting purposes.
11. Repeat steps 3 through 10 (above) until all LSRA's have their
configuration and message information downloaded.
All
annunciators must be initially downloaded using a direct PC to
annunciator connection.
Subsequent downloads to any display on an FCC/DCPU network may
be done from the master display (address 01). Disconnect the master
display from the FCOM-232 installed in the DCPU, and connect it to
the PC. Annunciators wired in a Class A configuration to a FCOM-232
board in an FCC/DCPU should disconnect
BOTH
RS-232
connections, but download using only a single RS-232 connection.
Remove the redundant connection first!
Enter the appropriate
display address, and initiate the download (XFER) process. There is no
need to set the Dip switches when remotely downloading to
annunciators.
The annunciator displays will indicate when the download process is
finished, and the computer screen will display a CRC number which
should be recorded for troubleshooting purposes.
