APPENDIX I TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
The following actions should be executed by qualified technician. Please stop using and send
to repair if trouble still can not be solved after these actions.

The indicator light of
power supply does
not work

Connect the power cord to the
equipment correctly.
Fuse
Remove the fuse holder and
replace with new T2AL250V fuses
The indicator light of
power supply is
illumined but no
image appears on
monitor
The endoscope is not
properly connected to the
processor with the
appropriate cable
Make sure the video cable from
the endoscope to the signal socket
is properly inserted in both the
endoscope & processor
Check if the internal lamp is
ignited
Press the
“Lamp” button

*Camera head endocoupler
is out of focus or there is
fluids/debris on lenses
Make sure lenses on both ends of
the endocoupler are clean. Rotate
focusing ring on camera head
endocoupler until focused properly.
*Manual focus of endoscope
ocular is out of focus
Remove camera head and focus
endoscope with bare eye. Re-
attach camera and focus coupler
Fluids and/or debris on the
lens of the endoscope
(scope tip and/or *ocular)
Clean off fluids or debris according
to the instructions of the
endoscope.
Image is mostly to
completely white
Endoscope is pointing to an
excessively lit object/area.
Move the endoscope to a less lit
object/area.

Adjust the brightness of the
medical video center and ancillary
monitor to what is comfortable and
clear.

Install the socket connection to the
