CHAPTER 3 INSTRUMENT INSTALLATION
3-1 Preparation before Installation
Warning
Use of other power supply voltage than instructed may cause fire,
electric shock. Please use the power supply of alternating current
220V. Do plug into a medical receptacle (3-pin) for safety.
Do not use a 3-pin to 2-pin transform plug as this may increase the
the chance of an accidental electric shock.
Avoid using the equipment near flammable gas which may cause
fire or explosion
Caution
Place the equipment on a flat, stable surface.

Place the instrument on a stable, level surface. If placed on a
suspended installation site, make sure it will not fall to the ground.

Prevent the air vents from being obstructed to ensure necessary
ventilation
③
Insert the power cord into power supply cord receptacle at the back
panel.
3-2 Endoscope Connection

Caution
Insure the power switch is OFF before connection, otherwise it
may result in equipment damage or malfunction and the stored
data may be lost.
1. Plug the light guide connector of endoscope into the output socket of the HVP-2100
(refer to
figure 2-1 HVP-2100 Front Panel
), meanwhile make sure that both of light guide
pipe and air pipe are inserted into correct holes of the receptacle and that it fits firmly by
the endoscope light guide connector’s spring ring.
2. Plug one end of the endoscope signal connection cable into the signal input of the HVP-
2100, and the other to the corresponding connector of the endoscope.
