CHAPTER 5 MAINTENANCE AND CARE
5-1 Clean after use
Caution
Clean the instrument according to the instructions.
Failure to properly clean the instrument, or to use cleaning
procedures not expressed in the manual, could cause
damage to the unit and operational failure.
Liquids flowing into the equipment may cause fault.
Do not splash water, disinfectant, etc. onto the equipment,
and do not force fluids/disinfectant with a soaked
washcloth, sponge, etc. into crevices, seams, vents or any
other possible opening that could seep inside the unit.
Clean dust and grime gently with a pledget or other soft cloth.
If the grime is serious and not easily wiped off, please use diluted litmus less detergent
(low pH/acidic) with 5-6 parts water to dampen pledget and clean gently.
