When Does FireBall DVDM-100 Connect To The Internet?
FireBall DVDM-100 is designed to automatically connect and disconnect from the
Internet as needed through your Ethernet network.
Quick Start :
During the initial quick start process – an Internet connection status dialog and progress
indicator are provided to show the status of the connection and registration process.
DVD and CD Lookup :
Each time a changer door is opened and closed and a new DVD or CD disc is found, or
whenever the user performs a Get Music/Movie Info, Quick Lookup, Lookup Range, or
Lookup All from Setup, FireBall will automatically connect to the Escient server in order
to retrieve disc information and cover art. The status of the connection and the status of
the information retrieval is displayed in the lower left portion of the Music Player screen
and int he information area of all Guide screens.
Power Loss :
When Power is lost and then restored, FireBall automatically dials out and retrieves the
correct time.

Test screens to check your Internet
connection under SETUP->INTER-
NET CONFIGURATION.
