During normal operation, the heating output activation is shown by

Setting the Comfort and Economy temperatures
The Comfort temperature is set by means of the ‘
‘ knob (

Fig. 1) whereas the Economy temperature is set by means of the ‘
‘ knob (

in Fig. 1).
Note: In order to have a nighttime reduction, the economy
temperature must normally be set on a lower value than the
comfort temperature.
The chronostat will control the room temperature in the comfort or
economy mode according to the schedule programmed (see paragraph
‘SCHEDULE PROGRAMMING‘).
SWITCHING OFF - ANTIFREEZE FUNCTION
To switch the chronostat On or Off press the ‘ ‘ button. When the
chronostat is Off the display will show the text “OFF” and the output
will be always Off.
In case the antifreeze function has been configured and the
chronostat is in heating mode, the display will show also the ‘
’
symbol and the room temperature will be regulated according to the
antifreeze value set in the relevant parameter (see paragraph ‘USER
MENU SETTINGS‘).
AUTOMATIC OPERATION / 24h MANUAL / PERMANENT
MANUAL OVERRIDE FUNCTION
By pressing the ‘ ‘ button, you can override the program schedule
and the chronostat will control the room temperature according to the
temperature set with the ‘
‘ knob.
By pressing the ‘ ‘, button repeatedly you can switch from
Automatic to 24 hour Manual, from 24 hour Manual to Permanent
Manual and from Permanent Manual back to Automatic.
The two ‘Manual’ modes are shown on the display with the symbol
‘
24h
‘ manual 24h and with the symbol ‘
‘ permanent manual.
‘Manual 24h’ mode is a temporary state which lasts until midnight of
the current day afterwards the chronostat returns to the ‘Automatic
mode’ i.e. to follow the programmed time schedule. The ‘permanent
manual’ mode remains always active until it is modified again with
the button ’
’.
TIME / TEMPERATURE INDICATION
Pressing the ‘
‘ button at any time, the user can choose whether
to display the current time or the room temperature measured.
If an external sensor has been connected to the chronostat and
the chronostat has been configured to show the external sensor’s
reading, pressing repeatedly the ‘
‘ button the display will cycle
the time, room temperature, floor temperature visualization. The floor
temperature is indicated with the the ‘ ’ symbol on the display.
SAMPLING RATE
In order to optimize the battery life, the chronostat reads the room
temperature and transmits the data to the receiver every 3 minutes.
Therefore it is normal that the displayed temperature is not updated
immediately and one need to wait up to 3 minutes to see the output
