Using Auto Take-up Reel Unit
When you want to print your data on roll paper and do
not want to cut it or feed it out onto the floor, you can use
the optional Auto Take-up Reel Unit to roll up your
print.
You can wind the roll paper forward or backward.

Warning:
Make sure the take-up reel unit is installed
properly and securely. Bodily injury may occur if it
falls.
Note:

Make sure that the leading edge of the roll paper is
straight; otherwise, the Auto Take-up Reel Unit
does not take up the roll paper correctly.

Control box
1. Sensor light
Displays the status of the Auto Take-up Reel Unit.
Light Status
On It is ready to use.
Flashing rapidly It is operating.
Flashing slowly It is in the power-saving
mode.
Long interval of flashing It has an error.
Off It is off.
2. Auto switch
It automatically winds the roll paper after printing.
Item Description
Backward It automatically winds the roll paper with
printed surface inside.
Forward It automatically winds the roll paper with
printed surface outside.
Off Do not rewind the roll paper.
3. Manual switch
It manually winds the roll paper after printing. This
mode becomes available when the
Auto
switch is Off.
Item Description
Backward It winds the roll paper with printed surface
inside. It becomes faster by pressing this
button for 3 seconds.
Forward It winds the roll paper with printed surface
outside. It becomes faster by pressing this
button for 3 seconds.
