*:In case “Paper Jam” error occurs for any of the reasons above, the jammed paper can come in contact with the nozzle surface of the print head, thus damaging the print head.
Paper is not ejected completely and
jammed around the Front Frame. Roll paper has
been backed out of
the printer or there
is a paper jam. For
roll paper, use the
roll paper knobs to
rewind the paper
onto the roll, then
press the Roll
Paper button.

see your printer
documentation for
information about
clearing the jam.
Front Frame

1. Check to see if the Star Wheel Roller is out of position.
2. Check to see if the Front Frame has been installed
properly.
3. Check to see if the Front Frame is deformed.
1. Install the Star Wheel Roller properly.
2. Install the Front Frame properly.
3. Replace the Front Frame with a new one.
Paper Eject
Roller
1. Check to see if the Paper Eject Roller has been
installed properly.
2. Check to see if the gear of the Paper Eject Roller
rotates properly.
1. Install the Paper Eject Roller properly.
2. Install the Paper Eject Roller gear properly.
Although the first sheet is fed from the
ASF Unit, the next sheet is not fed and
an error display appears. LD Roller Shaft
Holder
1. Check to see if the Torsion spring 0.22 comes off on
the both PE sensor lever.
1. Set the torsion spring 0.22 in the proper
position on the PE Sensor Lever.
The paper is not transported by the PF

Top/Front Paper
Guide*
1. Check to see if the Paper Guide Top/Front Paper
Guide has been installed properly.
1. Install the Paper Guide Top/Front Paper Guide
properly.
